About Aleesha

A bit about Aleesha…

Aleesha has been on her spiritual path for over 25 years. She lives her life honouring her eclectic system of Buddhist, Shamanic, Yogic, and Pagan beliefs. Aleesha and Parzival home-school their youngest daughter; the older children having graduated and moved on to the school of life, and all are spiritually-enlightened. Their life truly is filled with light. Aleesha’s first book, detailing her 209-day juice and water fast, is a work in progress.

Aleesha’s journey began with learning to read Tarot and being attuned with the first degree of Reiki in 1989. Her first Reiki clients were animals. She worked with cats, dogs and horses, assisting them by communicating their thoughts and wishes to their human companions. Since then, she has worked with many human Reiki clients, and she has also provided readings using Tarot, Scrying, and communicating with people’s Guides.

Aleesha was attuned as a Reiki Master/Teacher in 1998. She continues to live her “Reiki Principles” and has attuned students from all over the world. She does hands-on attunements for students who live close enough to her and distant attunements for her students in Australia, England, Holland, Switzerland, the U.S. etc.

Much of what Aleesha learns comes from her Guides. She believes very strongly that open, honest communication is needed with our Spirit Helpers and Ancestor Guides to achieve enlightenment and to walk our path. She assists students in creating a channel of communication for themselves through the use of Reiki and meditation. Zentangle fits in well with this philosophy as it is meditative art. Aleesha is a PaRama and Certified BodyTalk Practitioner, Reiki Master/Teacher, Creator of Alpha Connections, CZT – Certified Zentangle Teacher, Certified Sivananda Yoga Instructor, Certified Raw Food Teacher, and highly experienced juice and water faster. For ten years she was the Publisher, Editor, Graphic and Web Designer as well as a Regular Columnist for Timeless Spirit Magazine.

A bit about Parzival…

Parzival brings 25+ years of seeking answers to the basic questions of life: Who are we? Who or what is the Divine? and Are there simple answers to these questions? His first book, which is a work in progress, gives answers to the first two questions and answers the third question with a simple “yes”.

His spiritual journey began in earnest in the late 1990s, when his Guides came to him late one night and showed him how magical the world is. Since then, he has been using the skills learned in math and science to uncover new and exciting truths about the world and everything in it.

Before his Guides introduced him to the wonders of the world, he had earned Master degrees in Accounting, and Taxation, and a Bachleor’s degree in Astronomy. Since then, he taught himself Tarot and earned a certification in Life and Career Coaching. Aleesha introduced him to Reiki and attuned him through the fourth level of Master/Teacher.

However, it’s within the system of BodyTalk that Parzival has found his calling. Appealing to his rational mind and his intuitional nature, Parzival has embraced this healing modality which also serves as a path towards spiritual growth.

Parzival is a PaRama and Certified BodyTalk Practioner, Reiki Master/Teacher, Certified Life and Career Coach, and writer. He wrote the meditation column and articles for Timeless Spirit Magazine.

A bit about them together…

Nothing about Aleesha or Parzival is stagnant for long. They love to grow and find new passions for themselves. Working with crystals and rocks is one of them. Writing is another. Aleesha had been writing articles and a regular column for Body Mind Spirit Magazine since it’s inception until the October 2003 issue when she left to embark on a new challenge of creating a new online publication Timeless Spirit Magazine. She was thrilled when Parzival came on board. He started writing articles, took over her meditation column and began doing the reviews for the magazine. She was so relieved to have someone assisting her with this passion (as Timeless Spirit Magazine was her passion.) Everything they do, they do together.

In March of 2012 they were handfasted on the beach in the Bahamas and in August of 2013 they were legally married, standing in the centre of a labyrinth with their friends and family surrounding them. They truly live their lives to the fullest with hearts filled with love for one another.

They are constantly taking courses to advance their understanding and abilities within BodyTalk. Always eager to learn more they also love to coordinate classes together. If you see them apart, it’s a rare sighting indeed! *smile*

A bit about how they do what they do…

…in their treatment room

Located atop Burnaby Mountain and situated next to Simon Fraser University, their home is a peaceful abode and healing centre where they perform most of their services. Open and comfortable, it sets clients at ease.

Their treatment room is where they perform hands-on sessions, such as BodyTalk, Reiki and Tarot. Both Aleesha and Parzival work with crystals and other rocks. During a Reiki session they often use stones, tuning forks, drumming and smudging to draw out dis-ease or to bring in attributes the client needs. Their thirst for knowledge is never-ending and exploring BodyTalk is just one of the many things they are focusing on at this time.

Are you located elsewhere?

Hands-on treatments are one way to receive healing. Aleesha and Parzival also do a lot of distant sessions and distant attunements. There is no time or space. This may be a new concept for you but what it means is that everything is happening at the same time — even though we view time as a linear experience. So you can receive a session or attunement that they’ve sent you, anywhere or anytime you choose. (ie: They can send a Reiki session from their treatment room in Burnaby to a client in Australia. That client can take the session when they are ready to accept it rather than the moment that it was sent.) Aleesha has been sending distant sessions and attunements to her clients and students for years now. Many of her students prefer distant attunements to hands-on ones. Kaz is one example (read her testimonial). They also offer BodyTalk sessions in person, via Skype or over the phone. (Most of their BodyTalk clients are via Skype.)
